About Me

A Pacific to Atlantic transplant, I’m originally from Hawai`i but now living in Washington, DC. Currently, I’m the Communications Coordinator for the Office of the President at The Nature Conservancy, managing presidential acknowledgements and assisting with communications, events, and marketing. I graduated from Brown University in May 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in English with a focus on nonfiction writing. I love homemade chocolate chip butterscotch cookies, unlined notebooks, dogwood flowers in spring, ampersands, and used bookstores.

I’m a creative leader with a passion for writing, editorial work, communications, reading, food, and environmental issues. I have extensive experience with design, layout, photography, and photo editing. I’m a social media and blogging enthusiast with an understanding of trends and branding. Passionate about environmental advocacy through innovative initiatives, I love working with others who seek to make the world a better place.
